Orgasm and Everyday life ** 79

Orgasm is it The End All be All of The Sex Act ?

The sex act is Gods gift to a man and a woman. In the world over the sex act focus is orgasm, but sex is more than that.
The sex act is Gods gift to a man and a woman. This act of procreation and is sanctified by religion. The act per se has many interpretations. For example in the West the focus is on orgasm. Most Western social scientists and sex experts give a lot of advice on how to achieve orgasm. The result is that the average man or woman is obsessed with the concept of orgasm.

Most people view orgasm as the final denouement of the sex act, yet the ancient Hindu Tantra texts advocate the sex act, where in the end is not orgasm but a path to some thing greater. Here orgasm is not the goal, but just a milestone on the way. The focus as per Tantra is to achieve union with God. This may appear a far fetched theory, but a deeper study of this concept can help to understand the sex act and its relation to God as per the Tantra theory.

In tantra the goal is to prolong the sex act. The theory is that the sperms of a man have life giving power and can be the vehicle to ignite extra sensory powers popularly referred to as ESP. I also recollect that my Yogic teacher once told me in an informal chat, that the sperms if conserved can slowly go upwards to the brain via the spinal cord. These life giving sperms can then ignite ESP in the human body. The act of Sir Asana (Yogic Head stand) is the vehicle for the sperms to go up to the base of the brain.

Thus the end of a sex act need not be an orgasm. Also the aim can be to just pleasure the partners body and go on and on with the sex act. Some famous religious teachers also advocate this concept. Acharya Rajneesh also propagated this concept, which in any case had been borrowed by him from Hindu tantra thought. Western doctors who have studied this concept of Rajneesh have been appreciative of it.

In simple parlance when a couple mate, the aim should be to try and get closer to the Alma mater and not just a furious act that leads to an orgasm. In the ultimate analysis this may by itself be not all that beneficial. The ancient Hindu scriptures thus need to be looked at afresh and a man and woman would be the better of if they were not obsessed with orgasm.

A Bizzarre Facet of Hinduism: Tantra Sex * 64

The Aghori Clan, Black Magic and Sex in the Graveyard

ESP through Sex

Black magic is a word heard by almost all people; though very few are aware of the nuances involved. It actually means to please the devil that is the reverse of God. These black arts date to ancient times and many are laced with religion. These are pagan beliefs and are prevalent all over the world.
On such aspect of black magic is practiced in India by the Aghori clan. They are a part of the Hindu faith and are believed to have split off from the Kapilka order around 1000 AD, but the practices and beliefs go back to 4000 BC or the Vedic age.
The Aghori are worshippers of the God Shiva. They are an extremely secretive community and use sex as part of their rituals to achieve supernatural powers. The use of sex is part of the belief that orgasm and sex in the company of the dead will give rise to super powers. It really is a form of channelizing of sexual energy and forms a part of tantra sex. This was propagated by Acharya Rajneesh and many westerns are influenced by it.
The Aghori clans perform tantric sex in a graveyard of the Hindus where the ashes of the cremated are strewn. The ritual involves smearing a naked woman with the ashes in the graveyard and consummation of the act to the beat of drums and recitations of mantras. These mantras are the one that help release the sexual energy and leads to powers like ESP.
In the sex act the man and woman take the form of Shiva nd his consort Shakti. In many case the ritual involves sex with menstruating women and subsequent release of sexual energy. This clan has its headquarters at Varanasi in Utter Pradesh. Many foreigners flock to this ashram in the hope of achieving ESP and other powers. Though this part of the act of developing super powers through sex is not substantiated, the fact remains that many men of this Aghori clan do have subtle powers that cannot be explained.
On aspect of this ritual is that there has to be no force involved and the women has to take an equal part in the ritual which is usually done in the dead of night. The ritual is fairly elaborate and lasts for over an hour from the time of undressing of the woman in the centre of the graveyard to the final act and orgasm. It is the duty of the man to delay orgasm till the ritual is completed. Many tantric philosophies have refined this process for common and every day use.

One Exponent of Tantra sex are the Aghori

The Aghori are a Vaisnavite sect of Hinduism. they are worshipers of fierce manifestation of Shiva, the Kaal Bhairov. They believe that Tantra sex gives them ESP and other powers

The Aghori

The Aghori clan are a sect of Hinduism that traces its lineage to 4000 BC.. They are a part of the Hindu faith and are believed to have split off from the Kapilka order around 1000 AD, but the practices and beliefs go back to 4000 BC or the Vedic age.
The Aghori are worshipers of the God Shiva. Actually they worship the fierce manifestation of Shiva the Lord Kaal Bhairov. They are an extremely secretive community and use sex as part of their rituals to achieve supernatural powers. The use of sex is part of the belief that orgasm and sex in  the company of the dead will give rise to super powers. It really is a form of channelizing of sexual energy and forms a part of tantra sex. This was propagated by Acharya Rajneesh and many men and women from the west  are influenced by it.

Sex in the Hindu Cremation Ground

The Aghori clans perform tantric sex in a graveyard of the Hindus where the ashes of the cremated are strewn. The ritual involves smearing a naked woman with the ashes in the grave yard and consummation of the act to the beat of drums and recitations of mantras. These mantras are the one that help release the sexual energy and leads to powers like ESP.

In the sex act the man and woman take the form of Shiva and his consort Shakti. In many case the ritual involves sex with menstruating women and subsequent release of sexual energy.

Experiences of Some foreignors

I have attended a session of the Aghori ritual at Ujjain . I have also met 2 women who had come all the way from America to take part in this ritual. They had problems, but it will be wrong to relate them here. But I must state that two sessions with the Aghori and the sexual ritual worked wonders and their problems vanished.
They were not used to sex in a gathering on a dark night with the blowing of conch shells and singing of hymns. But after two Indian girls had gone through the ritual they took the plunge. One of them confessed to me that she felt she was on a cloud floating up and up in the sky and for her it was the most uplifting experience. Obviously this ritual needs further study.

Last Word

This clan has its headquarters at Varanasi in Utter Pradesh. Many foreigners flock to this ashram in the hope of achieving ESP and other powers. Though this part of the act of developing super powers through sex is not substantiated, the fact remains that many men of this Aghori clan do have subtle powers that cannot be explained. i met an Aghori who asked me to catch both his hands and when I caught them I found that one hand became ice cold and the other became so hot that i had to drop it. I am told a swami along with Vivekananda also did the same in USA before a gathering. So there is definitely something in this Aghori ritual.
A warning. I was told that one American man joined in to have fun. He enjoyed , but as his aim was unclean,  the repercussions were terrible as the man became mad. So tread with caution.

Tantra Sex: relevance to Buddhism and Hinduism

What is Tantra ?
Tantra is a facet of Hindu and Buddhist thought and the subject of many books.  Tantra has a connotation with sex and that is part of both these great faiths. 'Tantra' is a Sanskrit word and has many meanings. One of the meanings is growth and enlightenment. Obviously this aspect of Hindu thought means that it refers to the achievement of inner peace and salvation through sex. Many Catholics consider Tantra sex as Satanic in nature, but it is not so and really means that there are many paths to God.
Study of Tantra
The origins of Tantra and its earliest practices have been shrouded in Mystery and have existed for thousands of years. The earliest texts on Tantra require a deep study and proper interpretation as they cover all aspects of human life like health, belief, philosophy, sex, pleasure and God.

Western society has learnt about Tantra only in the 20th century and this has focused mainly on sex. But Tantra covers many other aspects of life as well including meditation and prayer, all interlinked with sex.  Tantra advocates a different form of sex, where the stress is not on orgasm, but on something more sublime like a dream and an attempt to prolong the pleasure and in the bargain get closer to the almighty.
Tantra Practice

Tantra sex is revealing your innermost feelings to your partner with the aim of a total union. It is not like a bullet fired from a gun which after it is fired loses its potency, but something deeper that can awaken the inner feelings and heighten the union with your partner.  Just imagine how wonderful sex is if you can dream with your partner and at the same time spend hours in a sublime embrace that can only make you happier.

There is nothing taboo in Tantra and it would be appropriate to consider the body as a temple and worship it accordingly. It is worth remembering that orgasm is not the goal of tantra, but a stop on the path to being one with God. This concept of Hindu and Buddhist thought is difficult to understand for men and women brought up on orgasm as the goal of the sex act. Tantra does not deny orgasm only wishes to inculcate something deeper, where a man could end up having many orgasms.

Advanced tantric Practices

Advanced tantric practices can be weird and sometimes involve sex in a grave yard to please the nether Gods. These are aberrations and one has to make his or her own choice in the matter. Tantra sex is beautiful if done with a pure heart and a belief that what you are doing is correct.
