Is the World Welcoming the USA back with Joe Biden.?

I don't understand what  ‘welcoming the USA back’  means. I do not think anybody is welcoming the USA back with Biden as president because he seems to have a one-point agenda and that is to undo all the actions of Donald Trump. In fact, his policies are going to lead to the impending implosion of the United States from the inside because of the racial and economic policies that have now come to the fore. America became the self-styled policeman of the world but the price for that has led to a budget deficit of $3 trillion. In addition, $1.7 trillion is owned by China out of the foreign debt of the USA. The USA is also a net importer and the biggest exporter in the world is China. Donald Trump was trying to undo all the damage because of the policies of the American presidents right from Clinton downwards to Obama. Overall he was good for America but the far left didn't like him including the fourth and fifth estate. They conspired to get him defeated and put in a man like Joe Biden as president. The road now is only downhill for America and I don't think anybody's bothered about America at all now as people are more concerned about that red dragon breathing fire and brimstone and threatening the world.

 I attended a Muslim wedding and saw the bride bedecked in a red wedding dress, a Sharara. It made me think as to why Red is the color for a wedding dress in the East, while the stress in the West and the Christian faith is white.A wedding is a red-letter day for a bride. Throughout history in the west women have worn white on wedding days. This is more for the fact that in Christianity, the white color symbolizes truth, purity, and fidelity. How these qualities came to be associated with this color is another story. The stress on the white color symbolized by Snow White is built into the psyche of the West.

 In the east, it is a different story. Here the Muslim and Hindu women will wear red. Maybe because it is associated with the red rose that symbolizes love. Chinese brides will only wear red as well. Why? This is because the white color is associated with something mournful and death. It's not a good omen and Chinese on their wedding day will choose the red color. They feel it's more vibrant and has no association with morbid thoughts like the white color has in China.

 Time and tide do not wait and what was abhorrent yesterday is passe now. A look at the sites selling wedding dresses in the west will show that a fair amount of red wedding dresses are on display. This means that some women in the west are wearing red wedding dresses for their weddings. Even in India and China, many girls are choosing to wear white. The walls of convention and superstition are breaking and there are no water-tight compartments now. Red is a lovely color and so is white. The choice should be with the bride.

India and Kailash MANSAROVAR; How India lost the Plot

 India lost Kailash Mansarovar TO China because of Nehru?

Technically India did not lose Manasarovar to China because it was not a part of India but having said that India had unfettered access to the holy mountain for close to 2 thousand years. It was like a “no man land” though located in Tibet. It is the holiest Hindu place of worship and abode of Lord Shiva. In 1947 after the departure of the British, India could have very easily incorporated Mansarovar which is close to the Indian border into the Indian Union. Unfortunately, Pandit Nehru was sitting on his haunches and failed to act. In addition despite exhortations by Sardar Patel failed to stop China’s invasion of Tibet in 1950. He refused to do so and in the bargain brought China to the border of India after 2000 years.

 Now Indians have to take a visa to visit Mansarovar. It must be noted that China did not allow any Indian pilgrims to visit Mount Kailash for decades after 1959. This is a sad story but the entire blame for this goes to Pandit Nehru and the Congress Party which completely misread the situation and made India vulnerable

BJP and TAMILNADU; Has it any HOLD

This a simple yet enigmatic answer. On the face of It, BJP has made some inroads in urban areas but its hold on agrarian society remains almost zero. Generally one can say that all BJP has in Tamil Nadu are some small enclaves and the masses are not enthused with BJP. There are many reasons for it. One of them is that BJP is viewed as a higher caste party bent on imposing the Hindi language and North Indian culture. 

This is anathema to Tamil masses. The BJP philosophy also appears alien to Tamils. There is also no emotional cord with the Ram temple though Tamils are predominantly Hindus. The BJP has the image of a party trying to dominate the south with Aryan ethos. This is not acceptable to Tamils. BJP while decades back championed The imposition of Hindi and this not forgotten by people. Mmosition of Hindi is a sore point with Tamils. The average Tamil has little love for BJP and on its own, the party cannot win a single seat in the state or Lok sabha.

Darjeeling: A Jewel in the Eastern Himalays

Darjeeling is the home of the Gurkhas. Earlier it was a part of Nepal, but it had to cede Darjeeling to the English after losing the war with them. The British developed Darjeeling and whatever we see there now is courtesy of the British and the Raj.

Darjeeling is connected by a narrow-gauge rail line to Siliguri and New Jalpaiguri. Often referred to as the 'Toy Train', the rail link is recognized as a heritage rail line by UNESCO. The rail is unique as it winds up the hills, crossing Kuseong and other stations on the way. At one point it makes a180 degree turn called 'Ghoom'which is an engineering marvel. Siliguri is connected by rail to Kolkatta and Delhi. Direct flights also operate between the airfield at Baghdogra and Delhi, Gauhati, and Kolkatta.

Thus reaching Darjeeling is not a problem.

Darjeeling is in the center of the tea gardens that abound there. As the train pulls up, you will witness the lush tea gardens. It is a sight you cannot see anywhere else in the world. Darjeeling itself is a modern town and at all corners the mark and hand of the English are visible. There is an excellent Mall road and a string of hotels that suit all pockets. There is also the five-star Oberai, which is the best place to stay. But I think it has now been closed down.

Women and girls in Darjeeling are very fashion-conscious and it is not uncommon to see even tea garden workers decked up with lipstick and makeup. If you have a love for the mountains and beautiful girls with curvaceous legs who are also very fair, then Darjeeling is the place for you..

TU-22, Russian Air Force Strategic Bomber is Still Operational

The TU 22 first saw the light of the day in 1969.  It was a Mac II Bomber And when it was launched it created quite a stir in the western world. However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the TU 22 development stopped and was only recommenced once Vladimir Putin became president.

The plane is now part of the Russian strategic air force and how do you speed of about 2500 mph. The Russians have about 50 of these strategic bombers still operational and they are a big threat to the Western powers.   The Backfire, which is the name given by NATO Is the force multiplier and can carry cruise missiles. It is also equipped with ECM and ECCM with advanced navigation systems. The plane does not need to enter the American hinterland and can launch its missiles hundreds of miles away from the American Coast. As per Russian planning, the plane is likely to remain operational and in service till 2040-45.

There was some talk at one time of India being given 3 TU 22 but somehow the deal did not take off. Had that plane been in the Indian Air Force arsenal it where it would have changed the balance of power equation between India and China.
