A Woman Executioner : Read about Nisreen Forgani, A Gaddafi Girl

In the photo above Nisreen is in center

Maummar Gaddafi had many bad points, but he defied hard line and extremist Islamic elements who wished to keep women in a Burkha and at home.  Give him credit for that.
Gaddafi launched the Amazon brigade of body guards who guarded him day and night.
One such body guard named Nisreen Mansour al Forgani has now been arrested and is in the custody of the anti Gaddafi fighters. She is presently shackled and kept chained to a hospital bed in Tripoli. One look at her will show that she is almost like a model, beautiful and chic looking.  It is hard to reconcile that she was one of the executioners of Gaddafi’s squad that executed freedom fighters as she is only 19.
Nisreen is adept with the gun and now claims that she and her family were not supporters of Gaddafi. She also claims that she was made an executioner against her will at the point of a gun. She remembers shooting 10 or 11 freedom fighters on orders of her superior. Though Nisreen has claimed she was repeatedly raped, there is a good chance that sex was consensual. Though the fact that she was made to shoot the prisoners may have been against her will. But she was an executioner all right
Freedom fighters do believe her, but her fate will be interesting to watch. Women body guards like Nisreen were killing machines an difficult to co-relate with a soft and shy girl.
However reports have emanated later that she was raped and killed by the revolutionary guards. Maybe she is no more

Karl Marx and Collapse of Communism * 68

I have been wondering how a theory that should have benefited the working class failed. I am talking of Karl Marx which in the 21st century is hardly mentioned. But there was a time when his theory fueled idealism and people thought a new dawn was coming..Thatwas the age of revolution and people though that a new messiah has come witha great theory.
The Industrial Revolution
The Industrial revolution led to the development of the Karl Marx theory. The famous adage  ‘dictatorship of the proletariat ’was Marx's  innovation. Marx was of the view that religion was a creation of the Bourgeois and was a tool to suppress the workers who would rise and be the owners ultimately. In retrospect perhaps it was just rhetoric, as Marx never spelled out the means of achieving this "dictatorship of the proleteriat"

Marx and Governance
Again Marx laid out only an economic theory and talked little of the sinews of governance and how the working class would rule. This interpretation was given by revolutionaries like Lenin who read Marx and adapted it for their needs. They interpreted Marxist theory to mean a dictatorship and a complete negation of human values.  Perhaps Marx never laid any stress on this aspect and just presented a utopian theory that negated human emotion and creativity. This was perhaps the biggest flaw of the theory envisaged by Marx.
Marxism in Russia
The first communist regime was ushered into Russia by lenin. He was a brilliant intellectual, but again he also had no comprehension of the freedom and spirit of man. The result was that at the first sign of weakening of resolve in the central leadership, the edifice built by Lenin collapsed. Thus the October revolution of 1917 that ushered in a soviet republic collapsed within six decades.
The Future
The only professed communist states now are China and Korea. They also in real terms do not follow classical Marxism and are just one party ruled government that tolerates no dissent.
Where do we place Marx now? He was a great thinker but what he wrote needs better interpretation. Classical Marxism is in my view is in real terms practiced in the west where the lot of the workers and their health is paramount. But perhaps if the Marxist theory had been applied in Russia and human values respected then perhaps Marxism would have a had longer reign

The Going of Gaddafi and his Women Body Guards

Gaddafi is gone and everybody is writing about him being shot in the legs, dragged and killed. It's sad that the rule of law was not followed, but my mind veers to another facet of Gaddafi, his women body guards. gaddafi had defied conservative Islam by recruiting these women guards. These guards wore lipstick, make up, chic dresses and high heels and strutted about holding automatics.
They were also loyal and one of them named Leila, died by taking a hail of bullets meant for Gaddafi in 2008.  What we know is that these women when selected were all virgins, but once part of Gaddafi's force they all slept with him , two at a time by rotation in the nude. When  Gaddafi was  cornered these women guards just escaped or were asked to go by Gaddafi. Because in his hideout no women guards were traceable
Gaddafi hanged many people sponsored international terrorism, but he kept al Qaeda at bay. The conservative Mullahs hated him for his liberalization of women as seen from his body guards. But Gaddafi didn't play by the rules and thus has paid a price with his life.
But the world must answer how did they allow Gaddafi to rule for 42 years. Hitler was ousted, why not Gaddafi ?

Can Erotic Art and Sculptors Rejuvenate your Sex Life ?

Here is a recipe for rejuvenation of your sex life. Many couples after a couple of years of marriage feel that the end of   the road is in sight. Their sex like gets jaded and the omens are not  good. However there is good news for such jaded lovers and couples as experts are of the opinion that sexual art and sculptures  can rejuvenate sex life when witnessed together.

You could for example visit a sex museum, like the one available in Amsterdam. There you can see a journey of erotic sex depicted as art from the past and the present. You will be witness to pottery, paintings, sculptures which will open an  entirely new vista for you and your partner, wife or girlfriend. As far as India is concerned the sex images depicted on the Hindu temples are worth a visit. In particular the 22 temples at khujaraho with vivid sexual sculptures are worth looking over with your partner.

The temples was erected in the 11th century and are a eye opener. They show that India was much advanced in depiction of erotic art than the West many hundreds of years back. The fact that they are in the precincts of the temples lends it a hallowed ethos and can certainly work wonders for a couple. We must remember that the erotic art is inherent to man’s culture. its a pity that  many people look at it from a prism and are unable to see the entire picture. Thus these lumpen elements  lead an attack on erotica. But remember these erotic paintings and sculptures can certainly work wonders for your sex life.

Feeling Inadequate in Bed ? Read this

Recently a friend of mine confessed to me that he was not able to ‘perform’ in bed. He was little despondent as he was feeling a lot insecure. This is one trait that comes up in case your distribution curve shows a deep dip in your nocturnal performance.
I remember what my guru Swami Shradanand had told me some years back. He had then told a small congregation that what to do in case you wanted to perform better in bed. I reproduce what the swami told me below. The swami gave a combination of bio chemic tonic and natural food for this purpose.
a)      The first step is to go to a bio chemic shop and buy compound no 27. This is a bio chemic tonic available across the shelf in most medical stores dealing with homeopathic and bio chemic medicines. It has no side effects and is safe like a cucumber. In any case do not take any drug like Viagra or associated products.
Take 4 tablets 4 times a day and let the pills dissolve in your mouth of their own accord.
b)       Follow up with a diet of almonds, dates mixed in warm honey twice a day. This is a nourishing diet and needs to be assimilated carefully. Eat ii slowly to savor the taste as well as a chance to the body to assimilate this food.
c)        Take at least 3 farm eggs fried in butter with plenty of onion and grounded red chilies. This could be taken in the morning. Garnish the fried eggs with chopped almonds and raisins with a slice of bread.
d)       At bed time take a glass of warm milk with honey.
Lastly make it a habit to exercise daily for 30 minutes. You could do anything like a jog or go to the gym or cycle. Do what ever you like and follow this regime of diet and exercise and the results will show in the first week itself. All those who read this post are requested to try it out and give me a feed back. It can only be positive.

Narendra Modi as PM ?

Narendra Modi is the Chief Minister of Gujarat state in Western India. He is a man who rouses strong passions for and against him, but many people are realizing that what he has done in Gujarat is something unique. He has developed Gujarat as never before and accolades are pouring in appreciating his work from far corners of the world.
One of the most potent comments about him and his work has come from a committee of the Congress, the United States senate. They have in a write-up opined that Narendra Modi is a man who has brought prosperity to Gujarat and good governance. They have also mentioned that Modi is Prime Minister material and the next general election will see a battle between Modi and the scion of the Gandhi family, Rahul Gandhi.
The United States Congress is not the only organization eulogizing the work of Modi, but in Indian many famous industrialists like Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani have echoed these sentiments.
Modi is a man of vision. There was a cloud on him for the Gujarat riots of 2002, but the recent Supreme Court judgment absolving Modi of any dereliction of duty or misconduct has acted as a rejuvenating factor for him

The stage is now set for Modi to appear on the national stage. In that respect his recent fast for peace is in the right direction. Reluctantly the BJP leadership has had to acquiescence, though people like Sushma Swaraj have their own ambitions. If the BJP can sink their differences and project Modi as the next prime Minister, victory at the hustings will follow.

I can only hope that the BJP top brass see the writing on the wall and back Modi whole heartedly. The result can only be good and may lead the BJP back to power. But Narendra Modi has to be given recognition.

The Bible and What it Says on Sex * 70

-->

Not many are aware of what the bible says on sex. I have had occasion to study the bible and a few samples which I have quoted below defy explanation. These to the say the least are bizarre and one wonders whether this is in reality the work of God.
  • DEUTERONOMY 22:13-21If it is discovered that a bride is not a virgin, the Bible demands that she be executed by stoning immediately.
  • DEUTERONOMY 22:22If a married person has sex with someone else's husband or wife, the Bible commands that both adulterers be stoned to death.
  • MARK 10:1-12Divorce is strictly forbidden in both Testaments, as is remarriage of anyone who has been divorced.
  • LEVITICUS 18:19The Bible forbids a married couple from having sexual intercourse during a woman's period. If they disobey, both shall be executed.
  • MARK 12:18-27If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.
  • DEUTERONOMY 25:11-12If a man gets into a fight with another man and his wife seeks to rescue her husband by grabbing the enemy's genitals, her hand shall be cut off and no pity shall be shown her.
One can just read these axioms and make his own conclusion. To say that obscurantism is the prerogative of eastern religions is a lot of nonsense. I wonder what honest Christians have to say about the above.

Princess Helen Loved an Indian

Everybody has heard of Helen of Troy, but how many know that there was another Greek princess who loved an Indian King ? He was Chandragupta Maurya who is recognized as one of the most formidable rulers of India. He loved the daughter of Seleucus whom he has secretly seen with her handmaidens, when he was riding past a rivulet.
Chandragupta and Helen
After the early death of Alexander at Babylon without an heir, his empire was split up and Seleucus Nikatar (victorious) began his rule all over Persia Iraq up to India. Earlier to that Chandragupta had espied Helen (not to be confused with the Helen of Troy) and he desired her.  In fact he had fallen in love with her.
Chandragupta over ran the Nanda empire and this alarmed the Greeks. Seleucus who had already troubles in Babylon resolved to come back and defeat Chandragupta. He thus marched against Chandragupta. In the meantime Chandragupta expressed his love for Helen by messages which were carried by carrier pigeons.  Helen it appears also began to love the ardent suitor from India. Through her hand maidens she learn’t that Chandragupta was a heathen who was a Hindu and did not believe in the Greek gods and religion. Yet she formed an image of Chandragupta and loved him.
The Defeat of Seleucus
In 305 BC Seleucus and his Greek army met Chandragupta in battle. By all accounts the Greek historians who refer to Chandragupta as Sandrokottos confirm that he defeated Seleucus. After the defeat, Seleucus was non plussed when Chandragupta offered a truce to him. The two kings met and signed a peace treaty and at that time Chandragupta asked for the hand of Helen.
Chandragupta Marries his Love, Helen
Seleucus was not inclined initially to allow his daughter to marry a heathen, but his daughter insisted and he agreed. He was also taken in by the generosity of Chandragupta who gifted him 500 elephants. But Seleucus had to give up all his territories up to Iran to Chandragupta.
When Chandragupta reached the palace of Helen she was delighted to see the man who had been sending her unrequited messages of love. Bards of that period tell us that Helen was the epitome of beauty with a skin that was fairest of the fair. How ever she insisted that her handmaidens also accompany her and Chandragupta readily agreed. Thus a lot many girls came to the court of Chandragupta at Pataliputra (modern Patna) and settled down there. Many married the nobles at Chandragupta’s court.
Soon Helen conceived and Bindusar the successor of Chandragupta was born. Bindusar was also a great warrior and the father of Samrat Ashoka.
The Ending
The love of the Greek princess and the Indian king is a romantic tale that can be told and retold. Is it not a matter of pride for all of us that Chandragupta defeated the Greeks and claimed his love a Greek princess as a prize?  This is how legends are made
